    Fascinating article… I prefer his image of the ‘braided stream’ to the alternative of an ‘evolutionary swamp’…there is more of a sense of constant movement in the stream… swamps can become stagnant and I don’t think evolution has ever been stagnant.

    Whenever I triage my email and a everyday primate is there it goes right to the top to be read immediately. This last one once again broached a very sensitive issue. So sensitive it it causes most to turn away. Understood. BUT somehow it is deeply relieveing to get the elephant out of the living room. A distasteful subject but that’s an ugly part of life.
